Consent Collection#
Why do I need to specify the account holder's name in the contract search tool
Enedis requires us to find the PDL in their database before making consumption requests.
This is to ensure that the added meters actually belong to the person or company we think they do. Don't hesitate to share any difficulties you encounter - we'll do our best to help and improve our tools. We'll also escalate problematic cases to Enedis.
We've had cases where users gave their neighbor's PDL without realizing it — for example, in apartment buildings it's common for Linky meters to be in common areas — and this procedure prevents us from collecting the neighbors' consumption data.
We're considering:
- tools to facilitate this search
- ways to work around when we can't find the name in the database if you're able to provide an invoice
Switchgrid doesn't find an active contract when I enter the information or upload an invoice
- The most common case is that the contract is registered under a different name with Enedis and the supplier
- For residential contracts, we recommend trying with the spouse's name.
- For business contracts, is the meter registered under a subsidiary or parent company name?
- If that's not the case, check if the meter is managed by an ELD (Local Distribution Company). We don't yet support retrieving consumption data from ELDs.
- If you've confirmed that the meter is registered with Enedis and the contract is still active, contact us at [email protected] to resolve the issue.
How do I generate a consent form after adding contracts?
- To add a consent form, you need to select the meters then click the "Have consent signed for selected contracts" button
- Select contracts by clicking the checkbox to the left of the PDL number
Can I have a consent form signed for multiple PDLs?
- Yes, absolutely! You just need to select multiple contracts before clicking the "Have consent signed for selected contracts" button
- However, make sure that the signatory has the right to give consent for all these meters (account holder or authorized by the account holder)
Why can't I request consent for only certain information?
- We require you to request consent for all available data to ensure you can then download the necessary data
- For example, if Enedis doesn't provide Load Curves, then you can fall back to Index data
Load Curve Collection#
How long to get my first load curves?
- The first historical Load Curve can take 3 to 5 minutes to arrive
- We start by requesting the last 7 days to ensure the Load Curve is available, then we request the Load Curve for the last 24 months
- You should therefore first see the last 7 days appear before seeing the last 24 months
What to do if Load Curve collection was never activated?
- In this case we immediately make the request to Enedis, and this activation can take up to 24 hours.
- Once collection is activated, we re-make the data requests for you and update your study.
- However, you'll only have access to at best 3-4 months of history at 1-hour intervals (data stored locally on the meter)
What to do if the Load Curve is not available?
- It sometimes happens that the meter doesn't provide Load Curves or you don't have enough data. Enedis may not provide Load Curves or only a few months (in cases where load curves had never been collected before your request)
- For now you are indeed blocked
- Soon, you'll be able to download Index data or extrapolate Load Curves
The PDL, Time step, and power elements are grouped in a single column when I open my file in Excel
- If you encounter this problem, it means you're using a different separator than Switchgrid.
- Switchgrid uses
,as separator - French versions use
;by default
- Switchgrid uses
- To open a file with multiple columns, you need to change your default separator and use
,
Consumption Data#
Is it possible to retrieve injection data?
- Yes, in the API and interface it's automatic, and in the API, you need to specify the
directionparameter when doingPOST /order. - This data will be available soon, and will be downloaded in a different file
What consumption data will be available in addition to Load Curves?
- In addition to Load Curves, you'll soon be able to retrieve daily and monthly Energy data from our interface
